Housemarque’s PlayStation 4 launch title Resogun looks to be gaining two-player co-op at some point, according to a teaser image posting to the studio’s Twitter account.

The image (above) depicts two players, the colors of the DualShock 4 light bars indicating Player 1/Player 2 status, and their proximity very clearly suggesting same-room couch co-op. Accompanying the image is text that reads: “First of many things to come #RESOGUN #DLC #teaser,” hinting at more than just local co-op is on the horizon for the voxel-built side-scrolling shoot ‘em up.

Earlier this month, Housemarque teased significant improvements to their Super Stardust spiritual successor, asking fans to “imagine it so much better that you almost forget how good the original was. That. Is. Coming.”

Resogun is available exclusively on PSN for PS4, free for PlayStation Plus subscribers or $14.99 otherwise. For more, check out our resident lover of all-things side-scrolling and shoot-y Eric’s review.
