Following their Resogun local co-op tease from two weeks ago, developer Housemarque tweeted a second teaser image for voxel-based side-scrolling shooter’s upcoming expansion.

The image, seen above, perhaps makes more sense to anyone who’s played Resogun than it does to me. Conferring with our resident Resogun reviewer, Eric, we’ve decided that the vox-spheres represent either a new enemy type or a power-up of some sort. The teaser text, “You’re going to need some,” and it’s implicitly absent “balls,” suggests to me power-ups.

In addition to introducing local co-op, the Resogun DLC will supposedly make Housemarquee’s PS4-exclusive shooter “so much better that you almost forget how good the original one.”

The developer has yet to announce any sort of release window for the expansion.
