It looks like Xbox Live Arcade just wasn’t quite ready for Hybrid, as 5th Cell’s new third-person shooter has recently been pulled offline by Microsoft. Sever issues have been plaguing the game all day, but apparently the problems are bad enough that some much-needed downtime is in order to get things working again.
Problems were addressed immediately on the Hybrid forums by 5th Cell’s Jeremiah Slaczka, who now says that the servers will be down until further notice.
Due to game’s focus on its “online global war” the dev team also noted that early reviews wouldn’t be available.
For our part, EGM just got our review code in yesterday. As soon as the servers are back up, we’ll be plugging away at game once we’re able to get online.
