Id Software is on the lookout for experienced UI programmers to work on “cutting-edge technology for an unannounced game on future-generation consoles.”

The job listing asks for “familiarity with id Software games, characters, brands and universes,” suggesting that the project has something to do with an existing property, maybe a next-gen Doom, Quake or Rage?

We all know that Doom 4 is coming, and it’s still a long way off, so it could easily be a next-gen title. I doubt it’s for Rage as the game didn’t exactly enjoy stellar reviews or sales.
