If you were wondering where Battlefield V gameplay was, here it is

EA Play 2018 came and went without much in the way of actual gameplay footage from Battlefield V. As it turns out, there is gameplay footage, it just wasn’t shown during EA’s own press conference.

NVIDIA GeForce’s YouTube page has hosted an exclusive look at a small section of a Grand Operations match. The game mode in this particular round appears to be Breakthrough, which is Battlefield V‘s version of Battlefield 1‘s Opeartions mode, where one team attacks at least one capture point while the other team defends it.

New gameplay features like fortifications are on full display in the short clip, as well as new looks at Battlefield V‘s version of 3D spotting and some of the game’s weaponry. Airborne mode is briefly shown at the end of the video, and a defending player can be seen shooting down the other team’s carrier plane with a stationary AA gun.

Following that, Battlefield insider JackFrags also posted a video that explains an entire Grand Operations match as well as showing off squad revives, 3D spotting, fortifications, and more:

We’ll be going hands-on with Battlefield V soon, so expect more gameplay footage in the very near future.

Battlefield V is launching October 19th for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Spit white-hot fanboy hate at him, trash talk his Gold II rank on Rocket League, or maybe just send him a cordial hello on Twitter @gogogoroff.

Actual gameplay footage of Battlefield V was conspicuously absent at EA Play 2018, but it's out there, and it looks good.
