PlayStation 4

New gameplay for the upcoming indie title Everything attempts to convey the game’s full scope.

Everything comes to us from indie developer David O’Reilly. As the name suggests, the game allegedly allows players to play as anything (and everything), offering over “one million+ years of gameplay” according to the developer. The game allows players to zoom in and out, controlling and moving around objects ranging from a microscopic cell all the way up to massive galaxies while learning of the connections between the entities.

The narration behind the video—as well as the game itself—comes from late British philosopher Alan Watts who discusses the connections between objects in our universe, seemingly a driving theme behind the game.

Everything (the game that is) is launching March 21st on PlayStation 4, with a Steam release expected to hit on April 21st.

Nick didn’t start gaming until mid-2006. Once his parents finally allowed a console into the house, it was all uphill from there. Starting out with a PS2, he grew an affinity for Sony consoles and moved on to the PS3, and now the PS4. He keeps his gaming palette wide, but, gun to his head, he’d have to say shooters are his genre of choice. Find him on Twitter @idole808
