Sony’s efforts to emphasize and highlight indie games continues with the addition of an indie games category on the PlayStation Store.

“This category builds on the support that PlayStation has offered independent developers in the effort to highlight some of the most unique gaming experiences on PlayStation platforms,” senior manager of digital distribution Pierre Gravereau posted on the PlayStation Blog. “The new category will house all of our latest indie titles in one convenient place.”

The new category kicks off with Retro City Rampage discounted 50% from now until May 21. In addition, the Papo & Yo bundle is now 40% off—55% for PS Plus subscribers.
