Indie Hit “Botanicula” Now Has A Free Browser Demo On Its Official Site

If you missed the chance to pick up the environmentally-minded indie adventure game Botanicula, you’re in luck. Amanita Design, the studio behind this and Machinarium, has launched a free browser demo on their official website.
About 10 minutes of gameplay is available in the demo, and if you like what you see from Mr. Poppy Head, Mrs. Mushroom, and the rest of the crew, it’s available for direct purchase at a paltry $10.
If you think you’ve heard of Botanicula before, it’s very possible. It had top billing in the Humble “Botanicula Debut” Indie Bundle and also won an award for audio work at this year’s Independent Games Festival.
Botanicula is currently in the works for iPad (no announce date quite yet), and it’s very possible you might see it on iPhones and Android devices. Given that it’s a point-and-click type of thing, this seems well-suited for touch-screens.
