Indie puzzle-platformer The Swapper coming to Wii U

Posted on July 28, 2014 AT 05:41am

Curve Digital has announced that it is bringing Facepalm Games’ puzzle-platformer The Swapper to Wii U later this year.

The game takes place on an abandoned space station, and sees players having to clone themselves to solve puzzles to progress. It will look closer to the PS4 version of the game than the PS3 version in terms of visuals, according to Curve, and features a new control scheme designed for the GamePad, as well as a touch-only mode.

The Swapper is currently available for Windows PC, Mac, and Linux. PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and Vita versions are set to launch August 5.

Curve revealed back in May, that The SwapperMouseCraft, and Titan Attacks will all be skipping Xbox One due to its parity launch clause, which requires games to release for Xbox at the same time as other platforms.
