A PlayStation VR experience at this year’s Call of Duty XP event puts players in the cockpit of one of Infinite Warfare‘s Jackal fighter ships. While the Jackal Assault experience was originally exclusive to the event, Activision recently announced that PS4 owners will get the experience for free when Infinite Warfare launches later this year.
The announcement was made during the Call of Duty XP keynote presentation, where Infinite Warfare‘s upcoming multiplayer was shown off for the first time. Those attending the event can try out the VR experience as one of the many attractions available to guests throughout the weekend.
The game’s impending launch brings with it another bonus for Infinite Warfare fans: a free multiplayer beta that drops first on PlayStation 4 this October. On the topic of multiplayer and Jackals, the developer has recently confirmed that the multiplayer will not feature any of the Jackal vehicle combat featured predominantly in the game’s single-player for the sake of focusing on the core Call of Duty experience.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is slated to launch November 4th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
