Infinity Blade 3 is headed to iOS next week, arriving September 18, developer Chair Entertainment announced today during Apple’s iPhone 5S reveal.
According to Chair Entertainment co-founder and creative director Donald Mustard, Infinity Blade 3 will be “the epic conclusion of the Infinity Blade trilogy.” The game will run on the new OpenGL ES 3.0 graphics library spec, boosting the visual fidelity of what is already a visually impressive iOS series.
Players will be able to choose between two characters in Infinity Blade 3: the warrior Siris and “stealthy female warrior-thief” Isa. Throughout the game, players will be chased by the persistent threat of a dragon.
Infinity Blade 3 will be compatible with iPhone 4S and all models above, iPad mini, iPad 2 and all models above, and iPod touch 4 and 5. The title will be priced at $6.99 when it launches alongside the iPhone 5S on September 18.
