Injustice

Injustice 2 director Ed Boon has taken to Twitter once again to invite Injustice fans to voice their opinions on what non-DC characters should be added to the game’s roster.

The head of NetherRealm Studios, in two separate Twitter polls, posed the question of what Mortal Kombat and non-Mortal Kombat fighters should be included, giving fans a variety of options that run the gambit from the expected (Sub-Zero) to the surprising (Buffy).

Check out the tweets below and sound off on your favorites! Who knows, we may find Batman squaring up against Arnold or Wonder Woman taking on Johnny Cage!

While many Injustice fans, on this and other pages, have voiced excitement about the possibilities of teaming non-DC stars with high-profile characters from other franchises, others believe that every guest fighter takes a spot away from a fan-favorite comic book hero or villain. It’s hard to argue with the approach, however, given that the best-selling DLC character from the original Injustice: Gods Among Us was none other than Scorpion from NetherRealm’s other fighting franchise.

How do you feel? Would you rather focus on the DC Universe or bring in some fresh faces? And if you are a fan of guest characters being added to the game’s roster which MK and non-MK characters would you have liked to see Ed Boon include in his polls but didn’t? Sound off in the comments below!
