Injustice

With the first DLC character from Injustice 2‘s Fighter Pack 3, Atom, now available to use, players have been curious about when the other two fighters from the set will make their way into the game. While specific release dates for both Enchantress and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles haven’t been revealed yet, NetherRealm Studios has announced fans can see Enchantress in action soon.

Shared on January 3rd, the Injustice 2 Twitter revealed a gameplay preview for the DC villain will take place on Friday, January 5th at 1 p.m. PT on the NetherRealm Twitch channel. Apparently “she will devour your soul,” so watch out.

Much like previous gameplay sessions, players can expect to see a detailed breakdown of Enchantresses’ moves and how to string together combos for special attacks. The fighter is a sorceress, which means fans can expect a majority of her moves to be magic-based. Of course, physical combat will likely be in the mix, too. The reveal trailer for Fighter Pack 3 showed Enchantress using a ranged magic attack and a shield as a defensive maneuver, but it’s unclear if they will be a part of her roster of abilities.

More importantly, fans can hope the stream will deliver a solid release date for the villain. With no mention of the Turtles in the announcement, it’s likely the first-look gameplay session means NetherRealm has the DC villain set to be the next to arrive. Once the final character in the DLC pack is released, though, it’s unclear how much more new content will be made for the game. When the game initially launched, it was stated there would be three character packs to experience, so players will have to wait to see if more DLC—or at least DLC characters—will make its way into the game.

Injustice 2 is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
