Injustice

So far the majority of the Injustice 2 roster reveals have focused on the well-known superheroes like Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman. Less represented are many of the DC Universe bad guys ? but that could soon be changing if a recent post from NetherRealm Studios head honcho Ed Boon is any indication.

Writing on his official Twitter account, Boon responded to a fan inquiry about one of the top-ranked supervillains of all time:

Like many of Boon’s Twitter teases, this can’t be called a definitive roster include just yet, but adding Darkseid to the mix would be a great, if not surprising, addition. The character has previously appeared in earlier NetherRealm efforts including Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe and the original Injustice, and his history as a villain that has survived from the Silver Age of comic books all the way through to The New 52 make the options for Darkseid even more robust.
