Posted on January 30, 2014 AT 02:43pm

The Injustice: Gods Among Us free-to-play mobile game for iOS and Android devices has had one billion play sessions since it’s launch in April of 2013, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced.

To celebrate, Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment are awarding players free in-game credits. Anyone who logs in between now and Sunday, February 2, will be graced with 30,000 free power credits to continue to wreak havoc on the forces of good and evil in the DCU.

Developed by NetherRealm Studios, Injustice: Gods Among Us for mobile devices features a collectible card mechanic to unlock different fighters. Players put together teams for 3-on-3 combat as they move through ladders to test their tapping tenacity. Fans who own the console versions of the game can also unlock various costumes and other collectibles in the mobile version and vice versa if they link their WBID accounts.
