Two indie darlings are finally coming to Nintendo Switch.
Playdead’s cryptic platformers Inside and Limbo will officially launch for Nintendo’s latest console on June 28th. As seen in the tweet below, the indie developer confirmed the games’ arrival on Switch shortly after the weekly Japanese paper Famitsu broke the news.

Pricing hasn’t been revealed for the games yet. It’s also unknown if a bundle will be available, similar to last year’s Inside/Limbo Double Pack for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
For players new to both games, they are puzzle-based platformers that feature minimalist and unsettling visuals. 2010’s Limbo debuted on Xbox 360 to critical and commercial praise, with Inside receiving similar accolades after its launch in 2016.
Since the latter’s release, Playdead has teased it’s working on a new title. While not much is known about the mysterious game, the developer did share an image that suggests it will have the same art style as both Limbo and Inside.
Playdead also recently partnered with RealDoll and iam8bit to create a possibly controversial collectible. The $375 blind box, which begins shipping in early 2019, will come packed with physical and digital copies of Playdead’s games, but it’s unclear what else will be in the box. However, with RealDoll as a collaborator, there’s a chance it could be meant for “private” use. Read into that however you want.
