Insomniac Games Comments On The Lack Of A Resistance 3 Collectors Edition In North America

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has recently announced a collectors edition for Resistance 3 with lots of goodies, however North America won’t be getting a collectors edition of any kind.

Instead of the collectors edition Sony Computer Entertainment America has decided to bundle the standard edition of the game with their new 3DTV.

This has left some North American gamers feeling a little cheated and so Insomniac Games has today spoke on twitter about the reasons for this.

“Our publishers SCEA and SCEE make those decisions. SCEE chose to publish
a collectors edition. SCEA did not. Many items factor in. If it were
up to us, we’d have a collectors edition for each of our games
worldwide. Unfortunately it isn’t completely up to us.”
