Inversion

THE BUZZ: Namco Bandai has announced a new official release date for Inversion.

The game will be releasing June 5 in the U.S. and June 8 in Europe, for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

This gravity-based shooter was set to release earlier last month but was delayed for polishing.

EGM’s TAKE: While the concept of fighting battles on the sides of buildings and on ceilings does sound appealing, it is simply a gimmick. At the base of it all is a third-person shooter. The idea sounds fun, but without the right execution it will fall flat on its face fast.
