Is Syphon Filter 4 coming to PS3 in Winter 2012?

THE BUZZ: A rumor has appeared in the latest issue of Official PlayStation Magazine Italy claiming that Syphon Filter 4 will be coming to the PS3 in 2012.

In the latest issue of Official PlayStation Magazine Italy they have hinted at the existence of Syphon Filter 4 and that it will be releasing in Winter 2012.

After an apparent leak on the Official US PlayStation website it was revealed that Syphon Filter 4 will be a sequel to the PSP title Syphon Filter: Logon’s Shadow and is supposed to be in development at SCE London Studio. The translated rumor reads;

”Syphon Filter 4 is slowly gearing up for a release on PS3. Expect a launch for Winter 2012.”

EGM’s TAKE: I’d take this with a pinch of salt, however being the second rumor regarding the games existence it might have some truth to it.
