Overwatch

An actor’s recent visit to Blizzard Entertainment has lead fans to believe that their wishes had come true; Terry Crews could voice the character of Doomfist in Overwatch.

The hype began when Terry Crews was outed on a Reddit thread as being the perfect candidate to voice the currently unannounced Overwatch hero Doomfist, who is expected to be an upcoming addition. Crews himself commented on the post, claiming that he would love to be a part of the game.

This desire may very well become a reality. Crews has revealed a recent trip to Blizzard’s studio via a post to his Facebook, including a picture showing him standing in front of an Overwatch sign. While this could be coincidental, the timing of his visit so soon after the popularity of his Doomfist Reddit thread seems like it has to mean something.

Crews isn’t the only reason every is talking Overwatch lately as the hero shooter’s new Winter Wonderland event recently commenced.

Nick didn’t start gaming until mid-2006. Once his parents finally allowed a console into the house, it was all uphill from there. Starting out with a PS2, he grew an affinity for Sony consoles and moved on to the PS3, and now the PS4. He keeps his gaming palette wide, but, gun to his head, he’d have to say shooters are his genre of choice. Find him on Twitter @idole808
