Resident Evil 7‘s virtual reality mode will be exclusive to PlayStation VR for 12 months after launch, according to a Facebook advertisement for the game.
Spotted by a Reddit user, small print at the bottom of the advert states that the game will be exclusive to PlayStation VR for 12 months.
Capcom is yet to officially announce which other VR headsets the game will support, but this advert seems to suggest that Oculus Rift and HTC Vive users are going to have to wait until at least 2018.
It should be noted that the exclusivity is only for the virtual reality portion of the game. Xbox One and PC owners will be able to play the base game on the same day as PlayStation 4 owners.
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard launches January 24th, 2017.
