THE BUZZ: Sure, all of you are ready to wrap yourselves in the bliss of Battlefield 3, but before you do—how about a trailer for Battlefield 4, set for release in 2017? I know that the folks at DICE are masters of getting amazing visuals out of gaming hardware, but it’s simply unbelievable what they’ve managed to do with the consoles we’ll have in our homes six years from now!

EGM’s TAKE: Obviously this isn’t an actual trailer for an actual Battlefield 4—it’s the work of Freddie Wong, the now-infamous special effects master who loves doing gaming-related videos. For this latest project, he (and the team he worked with) really did a great job of capturing the look and feel of bringing a first-person shooter like Battlefield to life.

So what do you think—by the time Battlefield 4 rolls around, will games come anywhere close to looking like this?
