It’s Not Just Players Who Can Prestige in Black Ops 2, Weapons Can Too

Treyarch has revealed that there won’t just be 55 levels and 10 Prestige for players to contend with in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, there will also be weapon Prestige levels too.

MP1st reports that Treyarch’s David Vonderhaar tweeted one of the site’s sources saying, “Did you know that you can Prestige any gun two times?” The source then followed up by asking, “If weapon XP converts to next prestige, will you have to prestige your weapon or will it go back down to 0 or stay at max?”

”Stays where it was. Weapon level and weapon prestige level totally independent of your level. Not reset by level prestige,” Vonderhaar replied.

So there you have it, even more Prestige levels to spend a chunk of your life on obtaining. Can anyone manage to Prestige every weapon in the game? What am I saying! This is Call of Duty, of course someone can.
