Jade Raymond worked on a concept for an unreleased Splinter Cell game

Motive Studios founder Jade Raymond has a broad development history, which includes conceptualizing a possible Splinter Cell sequel.

In an interview with GameReactor, the former Ubisoft producer revealed that she had worked on a concept for a new Splinter Cell title. Having left Ubisoft to found (and then leave) Motive Studios, Raymond wouldn’t reveal any details about the Splinter Cell project, which could suggest that the game is still in development.

This could be the same title predicted to launch in 2019 by Wedbush Securities analyst Michael Pachter. Pachter recently named a number of franchises that could see new installments in 2019, which included a new Splinter Cell, as well as the bold prediction of The Elder Scrolls VI.

Ubisoft claimed last year that the publisher was inclined to continue the Splinter Cell series, but lacked the resources to do so. If Raymond did indeed play a role in the development of a new installment, the studio may already have the foundation set for the sequel, so all that is needed is to allocate the appropriate resources to top the project off.
