James Bond 007 Legends to Have Kinect Functionality?

Posted on April 19, 2012 AT 07:01am

THE BUZZ: The recently announced 007 Legends may have Kinect functionality, according to an Amazon product listing.

The game, due out this Fall for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, will combine six of the Bond films including this year’s Skyfall.

Both versions are listed with an October 16 release date on the site, which would fit in with the Fall window.

EGM’s TAKE: It’s odd that Amazon would list the game for Kinect when Activision made no mention of the peripheral in its announcement. Why would Amazon just randomly add the Kinect part? We don;t see how the game can make use of the hardware, it’s not an on rails shooter and real run-and-gun situations are impossible at the moment. Maybe it will include some mini-games that we are unaware of at this time. Of course, this could easily just be a mistake on Amazon’s part.
