Jeff Goldblum, uh, finds a way into Jurassic World Evolution

Academy Award–winning actor Jeff Goldblum will be appearing as a guest star Jurassic World Evolution, the upcoming theme park constructing game from Frontier Developments.

Goldblum will be reprising his role as mathematician Dr. Ian Malcolm, proponent of chaos theory and one of the first characters in the book and movie to call out the scientists of their park on their ability to actually control the animals they were creating. It seems that Malcolm in the games will have a slightly similar role, acting as some sort of guide for the player character.

“I’m going to be with you the whole game, as Dr. Ian Malcolm. That’s the character that I play in those Jurassic Park movies,” Goldblum said in a recent announcement trailer. “I highly recommend [Jurassic World Evolution]. It gets 10 Goldblums out of a possible 10 Goldblums—that’s my highest rating.”

Jurassic World Evolution will allow players to take control of Isla Nublar and the other surrounding isles, building up a park from scratch. In addition to the standard ride and attraction building games found in other theme park simulators, you’ll need to bioengineer your own breeds of dinosaurs from scratch.

Jurassic World Evolution is set to release later in 2018 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

Your developers were so preoccupied with whether they could that they didn't stop to think if they should.
