Grip Games has announced that its racer Jet Car Stunts will be coming to PlayStation 3 and Vita in July, and to PlayStation 4 in August.
“You’ll be flying in the air, racing on narrow tracks and using jet to reach supersonic speeds,” Jakub Mikyska, CEO of Grip games, said on the PlayStation Blog. “Jet Car Stunts is a hybrid between a racing game and a platformer. The tracks are devious, the pace is ruthless and your opponents are the best racers from the whole PlayStation Network.”
All three version of the game will support Cross-play, and player Ghosts and leaderboards will be shared across all three platforms. According to Mikyska, the PlayStation 3 and Vita versions of the game will be identical and support Cross-buy. However, the PlayStation 4 version must be bought standalone, with owners of PS3/Vita version getting a significant discount if they choose to upgrade.
“The PlayStation 4 version will be significantly upgraded – offering better visuals, more track details and will run at 60fps and 1080p,” Mikyska explained.
Details on the discount for a PlayStation 4 upgrade and the exact release dates for each platform will be revealed closer to July.
