John Cena will be the cover superstar for WWE 2K15, the next entry in the WWE’s annual game franchise, last night’s live Monday Night RAW revealed.

This year marks the first time that the WWE actually had a full cover shoot done for its corresponding game. Cena said in a statement after the shoot that he would be working closely with 2K to help give the game his own personal little touches. It’s unclear if, by this, Cena means something as simple as what LeBron James did in helping pick the soundtrack for 2K’s NBA series when he was on the cover or more involved.

This announcement came on the heels of Cena winning his 15th world championship, when he won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the main event Ladder Match at Sunday’s “Money in the Bank” Pay-Per-View.

One of WWE’s most polarizing figures since his WWE TV debut in 2002, many of Cena’s matches are now serenaded by competing chants of “Let’s go Cena!” and “Cena sucks!” Whether you love him or hate him, however, there is no doubt that Cena has been one of the WWE’s biggest superstars for well over a decade now.

WWE 2K15 will be available for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, and Xbox 360 on October 28, 2014 in North America and October 31, 2014 in Europe.
