Thatgamecompany, the developer behind Journey, Flower, and Flow, has just revealed its next game—and it’s an Apple exclusive.

The new game, Sky, was unveiled during today’s Apple keynote conference. The game seems to draw strongly from the imagery of Journey, with a mountain of clouds and beacon of light in the distance and red-cloaked, flying protagonists, but the scene is set high in the clouds.

According to company founder Jenova Chen, players will take on the roles of the children of light within the game, with the goal to bring that light to where it is needed. “Compassion and generosity” form the main themes of the game, and gameplay will include up to eight players.

The game was designed around simple controls, in order to be played on the Apple TV, iPad, and iPhone. At the moment, it isn’t clear whether or not the game will come to other systems, though one Tweet did mention that the game is only coming “first” to Apple devices—implying that we could see a more standard console release in the future (or perhaps just an expansion into other smartphone markets).

Sky is set to release this winter, and will be exclusive to the Apple TV, iPad, and iPhone—at least for now.
