Jurassic Park Xbox 360 Retail Release Cancelled

THE BUZZ: Kalypso Media has announced that Jurassic Park: The Game will no long be released at retail for Xbox 360.
The title was released last year for PC, PSN, Xbox Live and iOS, and a retail release was planned for this month on PC and Xbox 360, however now the game will only see a PC retail release. ”Currently we won’t be publishing this on 360 – just on PC. No one else is bringing the game to retail,” said Mark Allen, head of marketing and PR at Kalypso.
EGM’s TAKE: This is bad news for fans who were waiting for a disk version before purchasing. Now you’ll either have to bite the bullet and pay full price for a digital copy or wait for a sale. There could be many reasons for the cancellation: perhaps the lack of sales for the Xbox Live version, or retailers not believing it will sell well enough to warrant stocking it. The game itself is another solid Telltale title, however the quick time events can become annoying and the game doesn’t seem to flow as well as previous games from the developer.
