Just Cause

An advertisement on Steam (via Kotaku and Wario64) has outed Just Cause 4 ahead of its official reveal.

The advert has since been pulled by Steam, but not before the internet got a hold of it. Sadly, clicking the advert led to nowhere, but the image used does reveal that protagonist Rico Rodriguez will be returning.

Just Cause 4 first appeared in the big Walmart Canada leak last month and is expected to be announced during Square Enix’s E3 presentation on June 11th at 10 a.m. PT.

This reveal does mean that another of the games mentioned in the Walmart leak has been confirmed, with Rage 2, Lego DC Super-Villains, and a new Assassin’s Creed game all being officially announced. Other currently unannounced games in the leak include Gears of War 5 and a new entry in the Splinter Cell series.

Yesterday, Just Cause developer Avalanche Studios announced Generation Zero, a co-op open-world action game set in an alternative version of 1980s Sweden.
