Ken Levine Reminds Everyone BioShock Infinite Wii U Isn’t A Thing

Even with impressive looking preview builds and some stellar-looking art design, BioShock Infinite couldn’t avoid a delay. But according to Irrational Games’ Ken Levine, it’s not due to a Wii U port.
Levine took to Twitter yesterday to debunk a rumor that’s been following the game for quite a while, this time being revived by Destructoid:
RT @tronknotts: ports to the Wii U will hurt the consoles rep and 3rd parties sales @iglevine bit.ly/P0v38D –No wiiu vers announced.

Of course, “not announced” isn’t the same thing as “doesn’t exist” or “won’t exist” if you want to get technical.
For all we know, Irrational Games’ dev teams are cracking a whip over themselves to finish a Wii U version right know. It would be very good business for the company to have a simultaneous PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii U launch next year, although BioShock Infinite should sell well regardless on the first two consoles alone.
