Killer Instinct‘s long-awaited Fulgore patch is finally being rolled out on Xbox One, adding story mode and the game’s final season one character Fulgore.
The patch weighs in at 6.8GB and adds Arcade mode, eight-player online lobbies, and a spectator mode. This will be the last major update released by the game’s current developer Double Helix Games. From now on Divekick studio Iron Galaxy will be in charge.
Iron Galaxy Studios took over the game following Double Helix Games’ acquisition by Amazon. Season two of Killer Instinct’s content is set to begin rolling out later this year.
