Killer Instinct

Apparent fan-favorite and enemy of Fulgore will be coming to Killer Instinct in March 2014, the game’s launch trailer reveals.

The trailer (embedded below), introduces players to all of Killer Instinct’s current combatants—Jago, Sabrewulf, Glacius, Thunder, Sadira, and Orchird—as well as Spinal, who will be added in January, and Fulgore, who’ll arrive in March. The trailer how players can alter the appearance of fighters through what seems like a decent amount of character customization.

Fulgore, a cybernetic soldier developed by Ultratech, first appeared in the 1994 arcade, 1995 SNES original Killer Instinct as one of the 11 playable characters.

Killer Instinct launches alongside the Xbox One tomorrow, November 22, available as a free-to-play fighter with only one character available to play. Additional characters cost $4.99 each. Players can choose to drop $19.999 on the Combo Breaker pack, which nets them all Season 1 characters, or $39.99 on the Ultra Edition, which unlocks all Season 1 characters, costumes, accessory packs, unlocks the Killer Instinct Classic Arcade Game (the original game, that is), and early access to Spinal and Fulgore.
