Killzone

More installments in the Killzone series are not out of the question according to developer Guerilla Games.

In an interview with Game Informer, coming in the October edition, managing director Hermen Hulst suggested that 2013’s Killzone: Shadow Fall may not be the last entry in the series, despite the fact that he considers it “conclusive”.

“Killzone is very key and very core to Guerrilla,” Hulst said. “We have a lot of love for the franchise. In a way it’s conclusive, but at the same time we’ll leave everything open for the future. Who am I to say we’ll never do anything? There’s too much in it to ever make any kind of definite statements on [the future of Killzone].”

As of late, the studio has set the series aside to work on its new property, Horizon: Zero Dawn, which was recently shown running on the newly announced PlayStation 4 Pro. Horizon, a PS4 exclusive, is slated to launch February 28th, 2017.

He keeps his gaming palette wide, but, gun to his head, he’d have to say shooters are his genre of choice. Find him on Twitter @idole808
