The original Killzone from the PlayStation 2 era will release with updated HD visuals as part of the Killzone Trilogy next month, but what about those who already own Killzone 2 and 3?

Well don’t worry because Sony has thought about this and has decided to release Killzone HD as a standalone title via the PlayStation Network alongside the Trilogy release. The game will be available on October 23 in the U.S. and a day later in Europe.

Killzone HD will set you back $14.99 and contains the same HD upgraded visuals and trophies as the Trilogy retail release.
