Talking to Eurogamer during the outlet’s 2013 Eurogamer Expo in London this weekend, Killzone: Shadow Fall lead designer Eric Boltjes confirmed that the team at Guerrilla Games were starting work on a new IP now that Shadow Fall‘s development wrapped up.

“As a studio, we do want to branch out, and we have started work on a new IP, something completely different to Killzone,” Boltjes told Eurogamer. “I don’t want to say anything about it right now, but as a studio we do want to keep it fresh.”

Killzone: Shadow Fall, first unveiled during Sony’s 2013 PlayStation Meeting in February, launches exclusively for PlayStation 4 on November 15 in North America, November 29 in Europe.

Expectedly, Boltjes did not share any details about the new project. But because Guerrilla Games is owned by Sony, one thing you can be sure of is that it’ll be a PS4 exclusive.
