Killzone: Shadow Fall gains two new free multiplayer maps today

Posted on July 22, 2014 AT 10:30am

Two new, free multiplayer maps are available for Killzone: Shadow Fall today, franchise community manager Victor Zuylen announced on the PlayStation Blog.

The Terminal is described as the interior of the massive partition wall separating New Helghan and No Man’s Land, a hybrid defense facility and prison complex traversed by rail systems. As such, the Terminal is labyrinthian, and “will really test players’ navigational skills,” according to Zuylen.

The Stormgracht, meanwhile, is an open, exterior map. Centered around a toxic industrial area in New Helghan, Stormgracht is one half junkyard obstacle course laden with large pipes that serve as tunnels to move through interior areas and the toxic outdoors. The map can also be flooded and require on-the-fly tactical reassessment if someone reaches and activates the floodgates.

Both maps go live today, and are available to any Killzone: Shadow Fall players for free.
