Kinect Star Wars

THE BUZZ: Microsoft has released a new trailer for Kinect Star Wars, detailing the various modes that will be available to play when the title releases next month.

EGM’s TAKE: Pod Racing is OK, the Jedi battles look good, even being a Rancor looks like fun, but we just can’t get past that damn dance mode. It should have no place in a Star Wars game, and the version of YMCA about being in the Empire really makes us sad. Is this really what Star Wars has become? It seems this is what the Kinect has reduced game development to. Instead of being an epic Star Wars adventure with lightsabers and force powers, someone had to throw in a bunch of mini-games just to use the tech.
