Xbox One X will be the best console to play Warhorse Studio’s medieval role-playing game Kingdom Come: Deliverance, according to PR manager Tobias Stolz-Zwilling.

Speaking to WCCFTech, Stolz-Zwilling revealed that the Xbox One X version of the game will run at 1440p and features “top quality” global illumination, more and better shadows, better lighting, and better LOD distances compared to base hardware. While the PlayStation 4 Pro version of the game will run at 1080p and has slightly worse global illumination and particle effects simulation than on the Xbox One X.

Stolz-Zwilling added that both the base PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will run at 900p and there will be no support for High Dynamic Range (HDR) on any platform due to the limitations of the CryEngine version used.

The game puts players in the shoes of Henry, the son of a blacksmith, who finds himself thrust into a civil war after invaders storm his village and slaughter his friends and family. Henry sets out on a journey to avenge the death of his parents and help repel the invading forces.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance launches February 13th, 2018 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
