Kingdom Hearts

Update: Alongside the latest trailer for Kingdom Hearts III, Square Enix announced the standard version of the game is now available for digital preorder on the PlayStation and Xbox Stores for $59.99. Two special editions will also be available.

The deluxe set will include the game in an exclusive steelbook packaging, a mini art book, and a collectible pin for $79.99. The other edition, which will only be available through the Square Enix online store, includes everything from the deluxe edition and Bring Arts figures for Sora, Donald, and Goofy for $229.99.

Original story: Kingdom Hearts III‘s latest trailer reveals more of the Seekers of Darkness that will gather against Sora and his friends, as well as a new summon.

The new clip was shown during Square Enix’s E3 showcase, which you can check out below. While a majority of the trailer shows off the previously revealed Frozen world, several Organization XIII members also make an appearance, including Larxene, Braig, and Ienzo. It seems Larxene and Braig are still on Master Xehanort’s side, while Ienzo will be using his knowledge of the Organization to aid the Guardians of Light.

Players were also given a first look at a new summon based on the character Remy from the Disney and Pixar film Ratatouille. It’s unclear what abilities the cooking rodent will be able to give Sora, but it’s possible he could offer increased health or MP in battle, similar to the Bambi and Tinker Bell summons from previous entries in the series.

Apart from the reveal of the Frozen world and new enemies, Square Enix recently announced the official release date for the conclusion to the Dark Seeker saga. Instead of arriving this year, Kingdom Hearts III won’t be available until early 2019.

Kingdom Hearts III launches for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 29th, 2019.
