Kingdom Hearts III made its long-awaited debut (as far as gameplay is concerned, anyway) during Square Enix’s E3 2015 conference today.
In it, we see Sora exploring a cliffside area that appears to be part of the new Tangled world, taking a leap off of one going who knows where, and eliminating Heartless after Heartless, including a mammoth one that finds Sora, Donald, and Goofy riding some sort of neon illuminated train during battle.
The focus then shifted to another battle that demonstrated Sora and company using spinning teacup attacks, a Hercules-inspired Pegasus ride complete with lightning that’s taking out a good chunk of the competition. It’s fast and frenetic, and extremely colorful.
There’s no release date in sight as of yet, but the end of the gameplay video did tout that the game is in development.
