Kingdom Hearts

A world based on Disney’s critically acclaimed film Frozen will be featured in Kingdom Hearts III.

During Microsoft’s E3 press conference, Square Enix revealed a new trailer for the highly anticipated ending to the Dark Seeker Saga. As you can see in the clip below, Sora’s Frozen-themed keyblade will have the Blizzard Blades transformation, which will give him ice skates for moving on ponds and icicles on his arm for attacks. It seems Organization XIII’s Larxene will also be the main villain in the world.

It was also teased The Lion King‘s Simba will return as a summon, while the protagonist of both Birth by Sleep spin-off entries, Aqua, has succumbed to the darkness.

The developer recently announced the game’s release date has been slightly delayed. Instead of arriving this year, players will be able to get their hands on the game in January 2019.

Kingdom Hearts III will launch for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 29th, 2019.
