Square Enix has announced that it will be introducing Critical Mode to Kingdom Hearts III tomorrow, April 23rd.
Critical Mode has appeared in previous entries in the series and is the hardest difficulty available. In previous iterations, the mode has increased the damage of enemies, reduced the damage of players, reduced player health, reduced bonus health and MP, and more.
According to director Tetsuya Nomura, the team has “changed things up from the previous games” for Kingdom Hearts III‘s version of Critical Mode, but no further details were offered.
Greetings, it’s been a while since I last posted. Spring is here, and I hope everyone is doing well. #KingdomHearts III’s long-awaited Critical Mode is available as a free update tomorrow (PT).
