Kingdom Hearts

Everyone’s excited for Kingdom Hearts III, but a different Kingdom Hearts game is launching first: Kingdom Hearts: VR Experience.

As unveiled on PlayStation Blog, Kingdom Hearts: VR Experience is a short “immersive experience” that will be coming to PlayStation VR sometime around the holiday season.

The post wasn’t too clear on what exactly will be contained in the VR Experience, but it’ll be about 10 minutes long, feature our “favorite memories from the storied franchise,” and heavily feature music from the series. Players can also unlock new content as they “play.”

The game will launch for free on PlayStation VR, which seems appropriate for how short the experience is expected to be. Check back for more details as the holiday season draws closer.

As for Kingdom Hearts III, that game will be out on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 29th, 2019.
