Nintendo has confirmed that Kirby villain King Dedede will be joining the Super Smash Bros. roster.

Dedede was first introduced to the series in the Wii version Brawl, and is the 21st confirmed playable character, joining the likes of Mario, the Wii Fit Trainer, the Animal Crossing Villager, Peach, Star Fox, Link, and more.

Super Smash Bros. is set to release later this year for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U.
