KOF XIII Gets NESTS Kyo, Demo, Netcode Patch

THE BUZZ: SNK Playmore has released a video showcasing the next DLC character for The King of Fighters XIII: NESTS-era Kyo Kusanagi.

As well, Atlus USA had two exciting announcements about the game today. First up is the release of a demo for KOF XIII, which is out now on Xbox Live and which will hit PSN on December 13th.

Along with that, the publisher revealed that SNK Playmore is “already at work” on a netcode patch.

EGM’s TAKE: While the game’s netcode has been far improved over The King of Fighters XII, there have still been some issues with lag when playing online. So, hopefully this will be an improvement in those situations.

As for NESTS Kyo, I’m excited! It was that era of Kyo that made me a fan of the character, so I’m glad to see him return. Now if only SNK Playmore would give me ’98 Mai!
