Konami has confirmed that Metal gear Solid 4: 25th Anniversary Edition is a PlayStation 3 exclusive after a retailer listed the title for Xbox 360.
Retailer MightyApe listed the game for Xbox 360, leading to a few upset fans voicing their opinions on the loss of an exclusive, but calm down now because the listing is fake. “It’s a welcome return to the rumor,” a Konami representative told Eurogamer. “But there are no plans to release Metal Gear Solid 4 on Xbox 360.”
The 25th Anniversary Edition includes built-in Trophy support, but no online component.
