Konami has officially promised to reveal the voice actor for Snake in Metal Gear Solid 5 during its pre-E3 press conference next week, and a certain legendary voice actor may have just thrown his hat back into the ring.
The publisher took to Twitter to remind fans to tune in to the show at 10 a.m. Pacific time.
The moment you’ve been waiting for! Who’ll be the new voice of Snake? Find out during PRe-E3 Show, June 6 @ 10:00 PST youtu.be/JDkyyPex5fc

Now we were all sad when David Hayter officially stated that he hadn’t even been asked to reprise the role of Snake in MGS5–a role he’s had ever since Metal Gear Solid on the PSOne–however, Hayter took to Twitter to offer the ultimate tease.
I’m so excited for E3!I just hope I don’t lose my voice.;-)

Now this could just be me being a huge Metal Gear Solid fanboy and hoping beyond hope that this is all just a big troll by Hideo Kojima, and that Hayter was signed to voice Snake all along. However, my rational side says that it could just as easily be Hayter playing on the fact that he lost the voice of Snake and just letting fans know that he will be at E3. Make of it what you will.
