Destiny

Developer Bungie released a new trailer for their upcoming shooter, Destiny today containing gameplay footage of Moon-based battling.

Most of the video is not set within the first-person perspective, which is how the game will be experienced (and how I’d prefer to gameplay videos to be shot in), but it does offer a solid look at Earth’s Moon as it’ll appear in Destiny. Apparently, it’s quite populated?and mostly with monsters.

Earlier today, Bungie confirmed that beta access to Destiny would be available to those who pre-order the game. The beta will be available for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One players who pre-order the title through Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, or Walmart. Beta access is granted by way of a redeemable code. The beta itself will kick off early 2014, leading up to Destiny‘s proper launch sometime in the spring.
